Quartz Countertop Installation

Quartz countertops are engineered stone β€” natural quartz crystals bound with resin β€” manufactured in large consistent slabs. Unlike granite, quartz is non-porous: bacteria, wine, and cooking oils don't penetrate the surface. It requires no sealing and is significantly more consistent in pattern than natural stone.

We work with local fabricators who carry major brands and also import direct. We'll show you options at our showroom or can arrange a slab sample visit. Every edge profile option is available.

FAQ

Common Questions

Is quartz or granite better for kitchen countertops?

+

Quartz is generally preferable for kitchens: it's non-porous (granite requires periodic sealing), more consistent in color and pattern, and just as durable. Granite is natural stone with truly unique veining β€” some homeowners prefer it for that organic character. Both are excellent; the choice is often aesthetic.

What quartz brands do you work with?

+

We work with multiple suppliers including MSI, Cambria, Silestone, and local fabricators who source globally. Cambria and Silestone are premium American/European brands; MSI offers strong value. Visit our showroom to see current samples.

How thick should my quartz countertop be?

+

3cm (approximately 1.25 inches) is the standard for kitchen countertops and is what we recommend β€” it's strong enough to overhang without additional support and has a substantial, high-end appearance. 2cm is used for some bathroom vanity applications.
